Logosynthesis International Association Appoints New President for the Next Phase of Strategic Development

The leadership transition will support further growth, global collaboration, and the advancement of research and professional standards.

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND / HALIFAX, CANADA — May 6, 2026

The Logosynthesis® International Association (LIA)™) appoints Dr. Regina Thiergardt, Switzerland, as President. Regina Thiergardt was elected President on March 25, 2026. She succeeds Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr, who has completed her three-year term as President—following a period of significant strategic development for the organization.

Dr. Thiergardt is taking over as director of the LIA at a time when the international community continues to grow and Logosynthesis® is increasingly recognized as an approach that supports sustainable and meaningful change in coaching, counseling, and psychotherapy. Her professional career combines academia, leadership, and personal development. From her role as head of research and development in the pharmaceutical industry to consulting on leadership potential and supporting people during career transitions, she has consistently worked at the intersection of high performance and personal transformation.

In her new role, she will focus on further strengthening the LIA as a globally connected professional community, fostering collaboration among practitioners, advancing shared professional practice, and supporting the application of the model in practice.

„I’ve seen what becomes possible when people reconnect with themselves,“ says Dr. Thiergardt. „That moment changes everything. My vision is to continue strengthening what this community makes possible and to work together to make this transformation accessible to many more people.“

Dr. med. Suzanne von Blumenthal, Cathy Caswell, Alan Rojas Yacolca, and Henriette Anzböck will continue to serve as chairs. Together with President Thiergardt and Executive Director Monika Koller Schinca, they will support the continued development of the LIA’s programs, professional standards, and global community. More information about the current Board of Directors is available on the LIA website at logosynthesis.international.

As it enters this next phase of strategic development, the LIA will further strengthen its focus on expanding the evidence base for Logosynthesis®, particularly through collaboration and partnerships to promote empirical research. This direction supports the organization’s ongoing commitment to helping professionals and individuals worldwide apply Logosynthesis® to promote well-being, address stress and trauma responses, and unlock human potential.
