New research on healing traumatic memories using logosynthesis.

A doctoral thesis by Dr. Natasha Jones’s “A New Approach to Healing Traumatic Memories: Using Logosynthesis to Resolve Subjective Distress Units Associated with Intimate Partner Violence” is now available for free download online via Proquest. Dr. Jones is a graduate of Virginia University State University and a logosynthesis practitioner and instructor, with an interest in using logosynthesis to heal conditions related to intimate partner violence.

The research summary describes: “The purpose of this pilot study was to determine how Logosynthesis® influences (1) subjective distress units (SUDS) and (2) the occurrence of intrusive, distressing memories in women who have directly experienced physical intimate partner violence.” Participants (n = 4) were recruited via social media and randomly assigned to either an intervention or control group and attended three group sessions with the researcher. Three time points were analyzed for SUDS measurements: pre-intervention session 1, post-intervention session 2, and pre-intervention 30-day follow-up. Two time points were analyzed for the occurrence of intrusive, distressing memories using the PCL-5: baseline during eligibility and 30-day follow-up. An independent sample t-test was performed to compare SUDS during treatment and 30 days after treatment. Additionally, an independent sample t test was conducted to compare the occurrence of intrusive, distressing memories on PCL-5 between baseline and 30 days post-treatment. The analysis revealed that the treatment group means reflected significant improvement over the control group, suggesting that logosynthesis may be effective in reducing SUDS with sustained improvements and reducing the occurrence of intrusive symptoms.” (Jones, 2023)

Congratulations Natasha! Her work inspires further research into the effectiveness of Logosynthesis in relieving stress and eliminating intrusive memories for healing and personal growth, achieving immediate and lasting results.

A doctorate from Dr Natasha Jones intitulée « A new approach to guide les souvenirs traumatiques : use the logosynthèse to résoudre les unités subjectives de détresse associées à la violence conjugale » is maintenant available en ligne via Proquest en téléchargement gratuit. Le Dr Jones is a diploma from Virginie. State University and logosynthesis practitioner and instructor, with an interest in using logosynthesis to heal distress related to domestic violence.

The summary of the research report: “Le but de this étude pilote était de éterminer comment la Logosynthèse® influence (1) les unités subjectives de détresse (SUDS) et (2) l’apparition de souvenirs intrusifs et pénibles chez les femmes qui ont directement subi des violences physiques conjugales. The participants (n = 4) were recruited via social media and assigned to a group of interventions or to a group of people and engaged in 3 séances de groupe with the researcher. Three moments on the same analysis for the measurements SUDS: Séance 1 before the intervention, Séance 2 après -intervention and suivi de 30 days before the intervention. These moments are analyzed for the device of souvenirs intrusifs and pénibles à l’aide du PCL-5: line of base pendant la qualification de participation et suivi de 30 days. A test T sur échantillons indépendants a été mené to compare the SUDS pendant the treatment and 30 days after the treatment. A test T sur échantillons indépendants a également été réalisé to compare the apparatus of souvenirs intrusifs and pénibles via the PCL-5 between the base line and 30 days after the treatment.
