The new structure of the LIA was approved in March. The elected board members have started their work and I would now like to present to you what we have been working on.
The Structure of the LIA - LIA Mission, Roles and Tasks 2023
What does that mean and what have we done as the two governing bodies - the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors?
Building on LIA's existing mission as an independent, international, non-profit association based in Switzerland, we thought about the future and developed a vision in various online workshops:
LIA is the recognized global partner empowering individuals and professionals to use
logosynthesis for a healthy and meaningful life.
Another important topic was how we want to work together as an LIA team. This required further intensive work on our team goal:
To advance the mission of LIA by creating a structure that promotes awareness, ensures quality of practice, and supports members in education, research, and development initiatives worldwide. Our team strives to live our values and foster collaboration between members and partners.
We are diverse personalities with different professional backgrounds. This treasure must be activated and used to bring in different perspectives.
What is our process for developing our strategy?
These two results now serve as the basis for specialized work in the individual commissions, with the goal of realizing our vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two further steps.
To move from vision and mission to strategy, we apply the Design Thinking methodology (overview: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). The focus of this process is the user - that is, you as a member or stakeholder of LIA. In the 5 steps of Design Thinking, we explore the core needs of our "customers". Where is the shoe pinching?
To this end, we have conducted initial interviews and are now in the evaluation phase. This will allow us to tackle the next step: How can/will/should LIA meet these needs? I will be able to comment on this in more detail next time.
What are our biggest challenges in this endeavor?
This fact is compounded by the fact that the entire process must be carried out online. There is a time difference of up to 7 hours between Zurich, Canada and Peru. Strategy work on screen with tools like Miro is not something we all have a natural inclination to do. We learn a lot, but it is also challenging to focus on both strategy and technology. That said, we strive to create an organization that reflects the essence of the model and its members.
A look into the future
We expect to have an implementation paper ready to present to you by the next AGM. We look forward to seeing you at the AGM on March 7, 2024.

Institute for Logosynthesis Cologne - Karsten Blauel and Willem Lammers
On July 29, 2023, Willem Lammers announced an agreement with Karsten Blauel, a certified trainer in Logosynthesis, to establish the Institute for Logosynthesis Cologne in Cologne, Germany. This agreement creates a second recognized training institute besides the Institute for Logosynthesis Switzerland, owned by Suzanne von Blumenthal.
Training institutes form a valuable structure to ensure the quality of Logosynthesis training. The creation of recognized training institutes is done in cooperation with Willem Lammers, founder and owner of the Logosynthesis brand. The agreement ensures the quality of the training and a recognized path for practitioner certification.
What does this mean for the LIA? There is now a need and an opportunity to create a new level of membership within Logosynthesis International Association. This work is already underway and will be included in the Statutes at our next General Assembly.

We are diverse individuals with various professional backgrounds. This treasure trove needs to be activated and utilized to bring in multiple perspectives. Text
What is our process to create our strategy?
These two outcomes now serve as the foundation for the specialized work within each committee, with the aim of realizing our vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more elegant sentences.
To transition from the vision and mission to a strategy, we employ the methodology of Design Thinking (Overview: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). This process is centered around the user - that is, you as a member or stakeholder LIA. Following the 5 steps of Design Thinking, we explore the core needs of our "customers". Where does it pinch?
To this end, we have conducted initial interviews and are now in the evaluation phase. This allows us to tackle the next step: How can/will/should LIA satisfy these needs? I will be able to provide more details on this next time.
What are our greatest challenges in this endeavor?
All LIA Board Members are volunteers, with most holding demanding jobs in addition to this time-consuming commitment. This results in less frequent workshop meetings than we would like. Furthermore, it is a challenging task to invite further volunteers to contribute to the committees. If you are interested to support committee work, please do not hesitate to contact us. This fact is further accentuated by the necessity of conducting the entire process online. There is an up to 7-hour time difference between Zurich, Canada, and Peru. That said, we are committed to creating an organization that captures the essence of both the model and the members.

What does this mean for LIA? There is now a need and opportunity for a new level of membership within the Logosynthesis International Association. This work is now underway and will be incorporated into the statutes in our next general assembly.

Qu'est-ce que cela veut dire et sur quoi avons-nous travaillé en tant que deux entités d'administration différentes - le Conseil d'Administration et le Conseil de Direction ?
En nous appuyant sur la mission existante de la LIA en tant qu'association indépendante, internationale et à purpose non lucratif basée en Suisse, nous avons contemplé les possibilités futures et nous avons établi une vision à travers plusieurs atelier en ligne :
La LIA est le partenaire global reconnu pour faciliter l'utilisation de la Logosynthèse de la part d'individus et professionnels, pour une vie saine et riche de sens.
Les modalités de notre collaboration en tant qu'équipe LIA ont été aussi discutées. Ceci a demandé un travail intensif supplémentaire sur le but de notre équipe :

We are individuals with diverse backgrounds and professional experience. Cette richesse a besoin d'être activée et utilisée pour donner naissance à des perspectives multiples.
Quel est notre processus pour créer notre stratégie?

Passer de la vision et de la mission à une stratégie, nous utilisons la méthodologie Design Thinking (panoramique: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). Ce processus se focalise sur l'utilisateur, c'est-à-dire vous en tant que membre de la LIA ou partie intéressée. En suivant les 5 phases du Design Thinking, nous explorons les besoins de base des "consommateurs". Qu'est-ce qui a le plus de valeur ?
Pour comprendre cela, nous avons réalisé plusieurs interviews et sommes actuellement dans la phase d'évaluation. Ceci nous permet de nous confronter à la prochaine étape: Comment la LIA peut-elle satisfaire ces besoins ? Je pourrai répondre avec plus de détails la prochaine fois.
Quelles sont les difficultés majeures dans cette entreprise ?
Tous les membres de la LIA sont bénévoles, avec des emplois exigeants en plus de cet engagement qui demande beaucoup de temps. Ceci nous permet d'organizer moins d'ateliers que ce que nous souhaiterions. De plus, c'est une tâche difficile celle d'inviter encore plus de bénévoles à contribuer aux conseils. Si vous êtes intéressés à soutenir le travail des conseils, n'hésitez pas à nous contact. Cette difficulté est accentuée par la nécessité d'effectuer tout le processus en ligne. Le décalage horaire peut arriver jusqu'à 7 heures, entre le Canada, le Pérou et Zurich. Le travail de stratégie sur les écrans avec des applications spécifiques comme Miro ce n'est pas quelque chose qui vient naturellement pour tout le monde. Nous sommes en train d'apprendre énormément, mais c'est très exigeant de se focaliser à la fois sur la stratégie et sur la technologie. Ceci dit, nous sommes engagés à créer une organization qui capture l'essence du modèle et des membres.

Le 9 juillet 2023, Willem Lammers a annoncé un accord pour travailler avec Karsten Blauel, un formateur de Logosynthèse certifié, sur la fondation de l' Institut für Logosynthese Koln, à Cologne, en Allemagne. Cet accord crée un deuxième institut de formation reconnu, en plus de l'Institut für Logosynthese Schweis, détenu par Suzanne von Blumenthal.
The institutes of formation represent a structure précieuse pour assurer la qualité de la formation de Logosynthèse. The creation of the recognized training institutes is done in cooperation with Willem Lammers, as founder and owner of the commercial name of Logosynthèse. L'accord est en soutien de la garantie de la qualité de la formation et d'un parcours reconnu pour le program de certification de Praticien en Logosynthèse.
What does this mean for the LIA? There is a need and an opportunity for a new level of membership within the International Logosynthesis Association (LIA). Ce changement est en cours et sera intégré dans les statutes de notre prochaine assemblée générale.

Che cosa significa e che cosa abbiamo fatto con due organi di governo - il Consiglio di amministrazione e il Consiglio direttivo?
Partendo dalla missione esistente di LIA come associazione internazionale indipendente e senza scopo di lucro con sede in Svizzera, abbiamo riflettuto su cosa potrebbe riservarci il futuro e abbiamo elaborato una visione attraverso vari workshop online:
LIA è il partner riconosciuto a livello mondiale per mettere individui e professionisti in grado di utilizzare la Logosintesi per una vita sana e significativa.
Un altro tema importante è stato il modo in cui vogliamo collaborare come team LIA. Ciò ha richiesto un ulteriore e intenso lavoro sul nostro scopo come squadra:
Far progredire la missione della LIA creando una struttura che promuova la consapevolezza, assicuri la qualità della pratica e sostenga i soci nelle iniziative di formazione, ricerca e sviluppo in tutto il mondo. Il nostro team si impegna a vivere i nostri valori per promuovere la collaborazione tra i membri e i partner.
Siamo persone diverse con vari background professionali. Questo tesoro deve essere attivato e utilizzato per apportare molteplici prospettive.
Qual è il nostro processo di creazione della strategia?
Questi due risultati servono ora come base per il lavoro specializzato all'interno di ogni comitato, con l'obiettivo di realizzare la nostra visione a tutti i livelli dell'organizzazione. Tuttavia, ciò richiede due frasi più eleganti.

Quali sono le nostre maggiori sfide in questa impresa?
Tutti i membri del Consiglio direttivo della LIA sono volontari, e la maggior parte di loro ha un lavoro impegnativo oltre a questo impegno che richiede tempo. Questo fa sì che le riunioni di workshop siano meno frequenti di quanto vorremmo. Inoltre, è un compito impegnativo invitare altri volontari a contribuire alle commissioni. Questo fatto è ulteriormente accentuato dalla necessità di condurre l'intero processo online. Tra Zurigo, il Canada e il Perù c'è una differenza di fuso orario fino a 7 ore. Il lavoro strategico sullo schermo con strumenti come Miro non è una cosa per cui tutti noi abbiamo un'inclinazione naturale. Stiamo imparando molto, ma è anche impegnativo concentrarsi sia sulla strategia che sulla tecnologia. Detto questo, siamo impegnati a creare un'organizzazione che catturi l'essenza del modello e dei membri.
Guardando al futuro,
Prevediamo che entro la prossima Assemblea generale avremo sviluppato un documento di implementazione da presentarvi. Ci auguriamo di vedervi lì il 7 marzo 2024.

L'istituto di Logosintesi di Colonia - Karsten Blauel e Willem Lammers
Il 29 luglio 2023, Willem Lammers ha annunciato un accordo di collaborazione con Karsten Blauel, trainer certificato in Logosintesi, per la fondazione dell'Istituto di Logosintesi di Colonia, in Germania. Questo accordo crea un secondo istituto di formazione riconosciuto, oltre all'Istituto per la Logosintesi in Svizzera, di proprietà di Suzanne von Blumenthal.
Gli istituti di formazione costituiscono una struttura preziosa per garantire la qualità della formazione in Logosintesi. La creazione di istituti di formazione riconosciuti avviene in collaborazione con Willem Lammers, fondatore e proprietario del marchio Logosintesi. L'accordo garantisce la qualità della formazione e un percorso riconosciuto per il curriculum della certificazione come Operatori.
Cosa significa questo per LIA? C'è ora la necessità e l'opportunità di un nuovo livello di appartenenza all'Associazione Internazionale di Logosintesi. Questo lavoro è in corso e sarà incorporato negli statuti nella nostra prossima assemblea generale.
