Dear LIA members and friends of Logosynthesis

The new structure of the LIA was approved in March. The elected board members have started their work and I would now like to introduce you to what we have been working on.

The structure of the LIA – LIA Mission, Roles and Tasks 2023

What does that mean and what have we done as the two governing bodies – the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors?

Building on LIA’s existing mission as an independent, international, non-profit organization based in Switzerland, we thought about the future and developed a vision in various online workshops:

LIA is the recognized global partner empowering individuals and professionals to
to use logosynthesis for a healthy and meaningful life.

Another important topic was how we want to work together as an LIA team. This required further intensive work on our team goal:

To advance the LIA’s mission by creating a structure that promotes awareness, ensures quality of practice, and supports members in training, research, and development initiatives worldwide. Our team strives to live our values and promote collaboration between members and partners.

We are diverse personalities with different professional backgrounds. It is important to activate and use this treasure to bring in different perspectives.

What is our process for developing our strategy?

These two results now serve as the basis for the specialized work in the individual commissions with the aim of realizing our vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more steps.

To move from vision and mission to strategy, we apply the design thinking methodology (overview: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). The focus of this process is the user – i.e. you as a member or stakeholder of the LIA. In the 5 steps of design thinking we explore the core needs of our “customers”. Where does the shoe pinch?

For this purpose, we have conducted initial interviews and are now in the evaluation phase. This allows us to take the next step: How can/will/should LIA meet these needs? I will be able to comment on this in more detail next time.

What are our biggest challenges in this endeavor?

This fact is further reinforced by the fact that the entire process must be carried out online. There is a time difference of up to 7 hours between Zurich, Canada and Peru. Working on strategy on screen with tools like Miro is not something we all have a natural inclination towards. We are learning a lot, but it is also challenging to focus on both strategy and technology. However, we strive to create an organization that reflects the essence of the model and its members.

A look into the future

We assume that we will have developed an implementation paper that we can present to you by the next general meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the AGM on March 7, 2024.

Best regards
Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr

Institute for Logosynthesis Cologne – Karsten Blauel and Willem Lammers

On July 29, 2023, Willem Lammers announced an agreement with Karsten Blauel, a certified trainer in Logosynthesis, to establish the Institute for Logosynthesis Cologne in Cologne, Germany. This agreement creates a second recognized training institute alongside the Institute for Logosynthesis Switzerland, which is owned by Suzanne von Blumenthal.

Training institutes form a valuable structure to ensure the quality of logo synthesis training. The creation of recognized training institutes is carried out in collaboration with Willem Lammers, the founder and owner of the Logosynthese brand. The agreement ensures the quality of training and a recognized path for practitioner certification.

What does this mean for the LIA? There is now a need and opportunity to create a new level of membership within the Logosynthesis International Association. This work is already underway and will be incorporated into the statutes at our next general meeting.

The new system is designed to ensure that the data is stored in a secure environment and that the data is accessible only to those who need it.

What is our process to create our strategy?

These two outcomes now serve as the foundation for the specialized work within each committee, with the aim of realizing our vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more elegant sentences.

To transition from the vision and mission to a strategy, we employ the methodology of Design Thinking (Overview: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). What are our greatest challenges in this endeavor?

All LIA Board Members are volunteers, with most holding demanding jobs in addition to this time-consuming commitment. This results in less frequent workshop meetings than we would like. Furthermore, it is a challenging task to invite further volunteers to contribute to the committees. If you are interested to support committee work, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can click on the member photos on the LIA homepage to send an email directly to the committee chair.

This fact is further accentuated by the necessity of conducting the entire process online. There is a up to 7-hour time difference between Zurich, Canada, and Peru. Strategy work on the screen using tools, like Miro, isn’t something we all have a natural inclination for. We are learning a great deal, but it’s also demanding to focus both on strategy and technology. Dear members of the LIA and friends of Logosynthesis,

The new LIA structure was approved in March. The board members have already started their work at this time and it is my intention to present to you what we have been working on.

La structure of the LIA

What does this mean and what have we been working on as two different administrative entities – the Board of Directors and the Governing Council?

Building on the existing mission of the LIA as an independent, international, non-profit association based in Switzerland, we contemplated future possibilities and established a vision through several online workshops:

The LIA is the global partner recognized for facilitating the use of Logosynthesis by individuals and professionals, for a healthy and meaningful life.

The terms of our collaboration as an LIA team were also discussed. This required additional intensive work on our team’s goal:

Advance the mission of the LIA by creating a structure to promote knowledge, ensure quality of practice and support members in global training, research and development initiatives. Our team is committed to bringing our values to life to encourage collaboration among members and partners.

Our team is committed to bringing our values to life to encourage collaboration among members and partners. This wealth needs to be activated and used to give rise to multiple perspectives.

What is our process for creating our strategy?

These two outcomes now represent the basis for specialized work within each board, with the aim of realizing the vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more elegant sentences.

To move from vision and mission to strategy, we use the methodologyDesign Thinking (panoramic view: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). This process focuses on the user, that is, you as a LIA member or interested party. By following the 5 phases of Design Thinking,We explore the basic needs of “consumers”. What is most valuable?

To understand this, we have conducted several interviews and are currently in the evaluation phase. This allows us to confront the next step: How can the LIA meet these needs? I can answer in more detail next time.

What are the major difficulties in this business?

All LIA members are volunteers, with demanding jobs on top of this time-consuming commitment. This allows us to organize fewer workshops than we would like. Additionally, it is a difficult task to invite even more volunteers to contribute to the boards. If you are interested in supporting the work of the councils, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can click on member photos on the LIA home page to email the board member directly.

This difficulty is accentuated by the need to carry out the entire process online. The time difference can be up to 7 hours, between Canada, Peru and Zurich. Strategy work on screens with specific applications like Miro is not something that comes naturally to everyone. We are still learning a lot, but it is very demanding to focus on both strategy and technology at the same time. This means that we are now involved in creating an organization that captures the essence of the model and the membres.

In the near future

We anticipate that before the next General Assembly, we will have developed an implementation document to present to you. Our new memories will be back on March 7, 2024.

Dear friends of LIA and friends of Logosintesi,

The new structure of the LIA was approved in March. I remember the consiglio Hanno initiated the work and, at this point, I will present to you what we have worked on.

The structure of LIA – LIA Mission, Roles and Tasks 2023

What does it mean and what have we done with two governing bodies – the Board of Directors and the Executive Board?

Starting from LIA’s existing mission as an independent, non-profit international association based in Switzerland, we reflected on what the future might hold and developed a vision through various online workshops:
LIA is the globally recognized partner in enabling individuals and professionals to use Logosyntesis for a healthy and meaningful life.

Another important topic was the way we want to collaborate as the LIA team. This is a rich, ultimate and intensively work on our purpose as a team:
As the mission of the LIA progresses, it creates a structure that promotes the consapevolezza, ensuring the quality of the practice and support and social initiative in formation, ricerca and sviluppo in all the world. Our team is impegna a lively and valuable team to promote collaboration between members and partners.

We are diverse people with varied professional backgrounds. This treasure must be activated and used to bring multiple perspectives.

What is the new process of creating the strategy?

These two results now serve as a basis for specialized work within each committee, with the goal of realizing our vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more elegant phrases.
By moving from vision and mission to strategy, we use the methodology of Design Thinking (Overview: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). This process is user-centric, that is, you as members or stakeholders of LIA. Following the 5 phases of Design Thinking, we explore the main needs of our “clients”. Do you have the point?

To that end, we conducted initial interviews and are now in the phase of valuation. This allows us to prepare for the next phase: how can/should/must LIA meet these needs? I will be able to provide more details on this aspect next time.

What are our biggest challenges in this undertaking?

The members of the Consiglio direttivo della LIA also volunteer, and the maggior parte di Loro has a lavoro impegnativo oltre a questo impegno che richiede tempo. This makes the workshop meetings less frequent than we would like. Furthermore, being a task that requires commitment, it invites other volunteers to contribute to all commissions. You are interested in the work of the comitati, but it is not necessary to contact us. You can click on the photo of the memory on the homepage of the LIA via inviare un’e-mail direttamente al presidente della commissione.

This fact is further accentuated by the need to conduct the entire process online. From Zurich, from Canada to Peru, there is a difference in the size of the 7 hours. The strategic work on the screen with tools like Miro is not something we all have a natural inclination for. We are learning a lot, but it is another challenging task to focus on strategy rather than on technology. This is why we are committed to creating an organization that creates the essence of the model and the membrane.

Looking to the future,
We anticipate that by the next General Assembly we will have developed an implementation document to present to you. The 7th of August, 2024.

Where does the real value lie?

To that end, we have conducted initial interviews and are now in the evaluation phase. This will allow us to take the next step: How can/will/should LIA meet these needs? I will be able to provide more details on this at my next meeting.

What are our biggest challenges in this undertaking?

This fact is further reinforced by the fact that the entire process must be carried out online. There is a time difference of up to 7 hours between Zurich, Canada, and Peru. Working on strategy on a screen with tools like Miro is not something we all have a natural inclination to do. We learn a lot, but it is also challenging to focus both on strategy and technology. Nevertheless, we are committed to creating an organization that reflects the essence of the model and its members.

A look into the future

We expect to have a implementation paper ready by the next general meeting, which we can present to you. We look forward to seeing you at the general meeting on March 7, 2024.

With kind regards
Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr

Institute for Logo Synthesis Cologne – Karsten Blauel and Willem Lammers

On July 29, 2023, Willem Lammers announced an agreement with Karsten Blauel, a certified trainer in logo synthesis, to establish the Institute for Logo Synthesis Cologne in Cologne, Germany. This agreement creates a second recognized training institute alongside the Institute for Logo Synthesis Switzerland, which belongs to Suzanne von Blumenthal.

Training institutes form a valuable structure to ensure the quality of logo synthesis training. The creation of recognized training institutes takes place in collaboration with Willem Lammers, the founder and owner of the Logosynthese brand. The agreement guarantees the quality of the training and an recognized path for the practitioner certification.

What does this mean for the LIA? There is now the need and the possibility to create a new membership level within the Logosynthesis International Association. This work is already underway and will be incorporated into the statutes at our next general assembly.

The new system is designed to ensure that the data is stored in a secure environment and that the data is accessible only to those who need it.

Dear LIA Members and Friends of Logosynthesis,

The new structure of LIA was approved in March. Elected board members have commenced their work and at this time, I will now introduce what we have been working on.

The structure of LIA – LIA Mission, Roles and Tasks 2023

What does this mean and what have we been doing as two governing bodies – the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors?

Building on the existing mission of LIA as an independent, international non-profit association based in Switzerland, we have contemplated what the future could hold and crafted a vision through various online workshops:

LIA is the recognized global partner to empower individuals and professionals to use Logosynthesis for healthy and meaningful living.

Another important topic was how we want to collaborate as the LIA team. This required further intensive work on our team purpose:

To advance the mission of LIA by creating a structure to promote awareness,  ensure quality of practice and support  membership in training, research & development initiatives worldwide. Our team is committed to live our values to foster collaboration among members & partners.

We are diverse individuals with various professional backgrounds. This treasure trove needs to be activated and utilized to bring in multiple perspectives. Text

This process is centered around the user – that is, you as a member or stakeholder of LIA. Following the 5 steps of Design Thinking, we explore the core needs of our “customers”. Where does it pinch?

To this end, we have conducted initial interviews and are now in the evaluation phase. This allows us to tackle the next step: How can/will/should LIA satisfy these needs? I will be able to provide more details on this next time.

That said, we are committed to creating an organization that captures the essence of both the model and the members.

Looking ahead,

We anticipate that by the next General Assembly, we will have developed an implementation paper to present to you. We look forward to seeing you there on March 7, 2024

Sincerely,
Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr

Dear members of the LIA and friends of Logosynthesis,

The new structure of the LIA was approved in March. The members of the board of directors have already started their work at the moment and it is my intention to present to you what we have been working on.

La structure of the LIA

What does this mean and what have we been working on as two different administrative entities – the Board of Directors and the Management Board?

And by building on the existing mission of the LIA as an independent, international, not-for-profit association based in Switzerland, we have contemplated future possibilities and established a vision through several online workshops:

La LIA is the recognized global partner in facilitating the use of Logosynthesis by individuals and professionals for a healthy and meaningful life.

The modalities of our collaboration as a LIA team were also discussed. This required additional intensive work on the purpose of our team:

We are advancing the LIA’s mission by creating a structure to promote knowledge, ensure the quality of practice, and support members in global training, research, and development initiatives. Our team is committed to living our values to encourage collaboration among members and partners.

We are different individuals with varied professional experiences. This wealth needs to be activated and used to give birth to multiple perspectives.

What is our process for creating our strategy?

These two results now serve as the basis for specialized work within each council, with the goal of realizing the vision at all levels of the organization. However, this requires two more elegant sentences.

To move from vision and mission to strategy, we use the methodology Design Thinking (panoramic view: https://youtu.be/gHGN6hs2gZY). This process focuses on the user, that is, you as a member of the LIA or interested party. By following the 5 phases of Design Thinking, We explore the basic needs of “consumers”. What is of greatest value?

To understand this, we conducted several interviews and are currently in the evaluation phase. This allows us to tackle the next step: How can the LIA meet these needs? I will be able to answer in more detail next time.

What are the major difficulties in this business?

All members of the LIA are volunteers, with demanding jobs in addition to this commitment that requires a lot of time. This allows us to organize fewer workshops than we would like. Moreover, it is a difficult task to invite even more volunteers to contribute to the councils. If you are interested in supporting the work of the councils, please feel free to contact us. You can click on the photos of the members on the LIA homepage to send an email directly to the council member.

This difficulty is accentuated by the need to complete the entire process online. The time difference can be up to 7 hours between Canada, Peru, and Zurich. Working on strategy on screens with specific applications like Miro isn’t something that comes naturally to everyone. We are still learning a lot, but it’s very demanding to focus on both strategy and technology at the same time. That said, we are committed to creating an organization that captures the essence of the model and its members.

In the near future

We anticipate that before the next General Assembly, we will have developed an implementation document to present to you. We look forward to seeing you there on March 7, 2024.

Sincerely,
Dr. Heike Rudolf von Rohr
